Reviews

Arrived home last night. Hated to leave, we had the most wonderful time and we all agreed that our stay in the cottage was the highlight! (And think..we had dinner the night before the wedding at the Ostrich (complete with morris dancers!I), saw a beautiful wedding at an ancient church (with bell ringers), reception at the castle on a most beautiful day!, dinner at the Tudor farmhouse, visits to Bath and Chepstow and long (sometimes scary) rides through the most lovely countryside! We cannot thank you enough!

I was so enamored of the cottage and proud that I cleaned every day, in case someone dropped by! My cousin Kathy and her husband from Norway visited as did my other cousin from Pennsylvania who were both staying at the Parva Farm house. Kathy was so hoping to meet you after your correspondence. They were all duly impressed! We will be spreading the "Gospel" of Tintern Abbey cottage far and wide and we would love to return someday. I truly can't imagine a more lovely holiday in a more beautiful, relaxing and friendly setting!

I hope you found things in good order,If you and Malcolm are ever in the states, we would love to entertain you! So don't be hesitate to contact us! By the way, many thanks for the wine, it was lovely, and the fresh flowers just knocked me out! I could just go on and on!

Thanks for everything!

A top notch cottage with high quality fixtures and fittings. We had a great weekend playing golf at St Pierre ( both courses!) The view of the Abbey from the cottage is special as is the vista from 365 steps - just up the hill. We all hope to come back again soon!
