How to join the Association

Basic membership, which advertises one of the following business categories is a modest £60 per year (or £40 for Food Producers). 

  • Accommodation
  • Activity
  • Attraction
  • Pub, Restaurant or Café
  • Specialist Shopping
  • Wedding venues and facilities
  • Conference Centre
  • Food Producer
  • Residential Care
  • Business Service

The annual fee covers the period January to December of each year and is due by the end of the preceding October.  New members joining in the period January to June pay £60 but this is reduced to £30 for  those joining from July onwards.  Download a Membership Application Form

As a member you can register additional categories of your business. As an example a hotel may have a primary listing under accommodation but may also choose to have separate entries on our website and in our booklets for its restaurant and its conference facilities.

Primary Business (hotel) - £60
Additional category (restaurant) - £25
Additional category (conference) - £25
Total annual payment - £110

Payment may be made by cheque, card payment or bank transfer but we are unable to process an application until the payment has been received.

Please note that as we are committed to promoting and encouraging high standards in the accommodation sector, it is our policy to only advertise in our printed literature, accommodation businesses that have been graded by Visit Britain, Visit Wales or the Automobile Association or businesses that have made a bona fide application for grading and are awaiting an inspection.
